I'd like to be proud that I'm first to post, but I guess there's no pride in it, considering I just now created this blog...so I'm technically the only one who could post first since no one else knows it exists yet. (What a stupidly long sentence.)
Anyway...hey, Zack! So Mom says you're still not to Africa yet, but since it's 4:35 PM here, I assume you'll be there soon. What the hell have you been doing since Sunday? Good grief.
Want to know what I've been doing? Sure you do, right? I won't run down every last little detail, but my point in creating this blog is so that we (whoever else among your friends decides to join this effort) can keep you updated on the little things that we would tell you in ordinary conversation, if indeed we could have ordinary conversations with you without it costing a fortune. So that's what I'll do. And I'll also try to avoid more stupidly long sentences like the one before the one before this one.
Sunday, after we dropped you off, Grandpa agreed that I could be First Mate on the boat he's going to sail to Kenya. He's sailing that boat there to drop off the binder and papers you couldn't fit in your suitcase. After leaving the airport, Mom and Deej and I ate Thai food at a place near our house. (Jealous yet? No Thai food for three months! Personally, I wasn't even sure how I would handle it during the five days we were in Jamaica.) Then DJ and I went back to Mom's and wound up spending the night. Slumber party!! Oh yeah, and Mom came out to the living room and said the following (verbatim): "Can I get youse guys something to drink?" From now on, I will also always refer to Mom + whomever else she's with as "youse guys."
Yesterday (Monday), I had the day off for "Staff Spring Fun Day," whatever the hell that is. I enjoyed my Spring Fun Day by driving all over the metro area trying to fulfill a grocery list. I did not succeed.
And today was just work...nothing exciting, really.
If I can figure out how to upload videos to this blog, I'll post the ones DJ made from your going away party. (I'm not sure why we only have two or three pictures and several minutes worth of video, but that's the way it is.) If nothing else, I'll just upload the videos to YouTube for the world to see, and then I'll link them in another post.

i think you should probably blog more. i've been leaning on a glass of wine while wasting my evening on the internet and i came very close to spilling said wine on unsaid laptop midst 'cast of the giggles'.
